I found the neatest book a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to ask my kids questions to stick into a family storybook I was making, but I was stumped as to what I should ask them, beyond the basics.
I did a quick internet search and found the book, Hold That Thought - For Kids. I quickly ordered it through Amazon, and had it back a few days later. Basically, it is a book full of questions that you can ask your kids about family, their knowledge, imagination, and all sorts of other things.
I have had so much fun asking my kids questions, and hearing their answers, and they have loved every minute of it as well.
Here are some of their answers:
My 3 year old-
Pretend I hid a tiny surprise in your pocket. What is it? Cinderella hair...and a car that I really wanted, a princess one.
How do you know that Daddy loves you? Because he climbs on the mountain and slides down. (He did)
My 6 year old-
End this sentence. The grass is always greener_______. After it's watered.
What is it like in outer space? We see the planets, we see the moon, we see the earth, we see the stars. Its dark.
